My sister and I started out with a 24 foot. TOO SMALL. We just bought our Catalina the  last week of January 2002. We will go out on our first trip Saturday 2-11-02.

I have recently acquired Zebedee a Jaguar 30 (aka Catalina 30). Presently she has wheel steering and over the winter I want to install the ability to have emergency tiller steering in case of wheel failure. Hence this message to ask if anyone has undertaken a similar task and could offer any tips or advice. Any information will be gratefully received at the e-mail address above.
