Rudder Stuffing Box
The stuffing box was originally glassed to the fiberglass rudder tube. I have attached some drawings that show the installation as well as a tech article describing how 3M 5200 can be used to reseal the stuffing box. The stuffing for the stuffing box is one (1) wrap of 3/8" packing. I have also included a drawing showing how to repair the any leaks that might exist between the rudder tube and the hull.
